What is native?
Native is a student events discovery platform that aims to deliver the best experiences to students. Our website and app show events in your city and now we power experiences like Aston University Welcome Week 2020.
This year we are supporting the Student Union community through the Coronavirus Pandemic by providing an out-of-the box virtual events solution, in addition to top quality online and socially-distanced events for freshers programmes.
Who can come to Aston Students' Union events?
The events listed here are open to Aston University students. Some events may also be open to guests, alumni, or the wider community. Eligibility will always be listed on individual event pages.
Do I need a ticket for every event?
Not all events require a ticket, but many do. If a ticket is required, this will be clearly stated on the event page.
Are these events free to attend?
Some events are free, and some may have a cost. Ticket prices if applicable will be shown when booking and you can also find this information out by selected the event for more information.
Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
Refund policies vary depending on the event. Please refer to the individual event listing for specific refund information.
Are Aston Students' Union events accessible?

Is the SU just an event organising company?
In addition to organising all the fun events in the university, The Students’ Union is also responsible for conducting elections to get your student officers voted who then work for the students by supporting their voice and academic concerns, managing clubs and societies, provide any advice if a student is facing housing, mental health issues.
How many clubs and societies does Aston Students’ Union have?
We have over 160 clubs and societies. You can go here to see the entire list. If you don’t find any that you like, you can always create your own.
