19:00 Music & Dance Performances in The Lounge
20:00 Diwali Buffet in the Downstairs Hall *Buffet will be vegetarian, with no egg containing dishes
22:00 Fireworks outside the SU
22:20 DJ and dancing in The Lounge
Event policies
Terms & Conditions
- The event is for Aston Students only, and is an 18+ event Proof of age and Student ID will be required.
- Food service will be between 8pm and 10pm. Please arrive by 9:30pm for food.
- Bag searches will be in operation for the safety of attendees.
- Last entry to the event is 12pm.
- Aston SU reserve the right to refuse entry should an attendee be excessively intoxicated, or in possession of prohibited items.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Aston SU reserves the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued.
- Food served may contain or come into contact with allergens. Allergen information will be available, and attendees should disclose details of any allergies to the serving staff. Aston SU is not liable for allergic reactions if disclosure to staff is not made.
- Service at the bar will cease at 00:40am
- Aston SU accepts no responsibility for loss/damage to personal belongings.
- Attendees must not bring their own fireworks, sparklers, lanterns, or similar items. These will be confiscated and may result in refusal of entry.
- The designated viewing area must be respected, with no entry into the restricted area, and steward instructions followed before, during, and after the display.
- In the unlikely event of the display being cancelled due to severe weather, refunds will not be available unless the rest of the event is cancelled.
