We have every intention of providing our brand new space for our students to explore. However, the SU is going to be a bit different as we’ll be maintaining all the social distancing measures to keep our students and staff safe. We will also be having our bar & restaurant, The Lounge open from when the term starts where you could get food and drinks when you are in SU. We will be constantly reviewing government guidelines and react accordingly to make sure everyone are safe.

Our Clubs and Socs fair will be happening on the 23rd September, 2020. We are excited to be organising the first ever virtual fair with over 100 stalls for you to explore and it is not going to be there for just a day, as you can visit our virtual fair anytime until 7th October, 2020.

Native is a student events discovery platform that aims to deliver the best experiences to students. Our website and app show events in your city and now we power experiences like Aston University Welcome Week 2020.

This year we are supporting the Student Union community through the Coronavirus Pandemic by providing an out-of-the box virtual events solution, in addition to top quality online and socially-distanced events for freshers programmes.

In addition to organising all the fun events in the university, The Students’ Union is also responsible for conducting elections to get your student officers voted who then work for the students by supporting their voice and academic concerns, managing clubs and societies, provide any advice if a student is facing housing, mental health issues.

We have over 130+ clubs and societies. You can go here to see the entire list. If you don’t find any that you like, you can always create your own. Just email student.activities@aston.ac.uk and they will make it possible.
